INTRODUCTION

 

The Academy of Transit Training and Specialized Transportation Services has been established to help new and existing transportation companies with training that will assist the participants with achieving Professional Excellence in Passenger Transportation.

In this time of the expanding need for private and public transportation services, there are increased needs for staff training in the fundamentals of transportation. The Academy of Transit Training and Specialized Transportation Services has been established to provide transportation companies with the means for developing the skills needed to be successful, profitable, and for achieving Professional Excellence in Transportation.

Our approach is simple. We are not on online program! We offer training workshops that are on-site, and in person, for individuals to obtain hands on understanding of transit management fundamentals.

Our team of instructors have years of experience managing transportation operations and bring a wealth of real-world solutions to each workshop. We are experienced with all types of transportation companies including:

The information that is given is everyday useful information that can be taken back to the company and used right away. Nationally recognized claims consultant and professional claim settlement negotiator with over 40+ years of experience. Doug's consulting practice focuses on working with clients to develop solutions to their claim management program or claims management issues.

 

FRANK CICCARELLA

 

Nationally recognized safety and training consultant with over 40+ years of experience. Specializing in developing strong safety cultures which seqway's with strong foundational training programs. Frank provides risk management oversight, compliance review and preparation, expert witness review, safety-based technology use, analytic reviews and training program development and implementation, daily management programs and review. Owner of Synergize Consulting, LLC.

 

MICHAEL STALEY

 

Owner of GMS and Associates, a consulting company that works with transit operations across the US. With over 33 years of experiences, Michael specializes in providing consulting and interim management services to paratransit systems in the public and private sectors. Mike can provide leadership with call center programs, contact administration, Request for Proposal (RFP) preparation and review, budget preparation, Operator Efficiency Ratio (OER) programs, scheduling and dispatch training, On Time Performance (OTP) review and assessment, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) development, implementation, and review.

 

AMOS BEINHART

 

A senior transportation specialist with over 30+ years of experience, Amos's core focus has been in driver training, safety, accident and injury prevention, policy and procedure development, regulatory compliance, employee development, and safety culture development through foundational training programs.

 

PATRICK VESS

 

With over 38 years of experience in Safety Leadership and management positions, health and environmental, manufacturing operations and engineering, maintenance, and project magement. Pat has been trained in Six Sigma Black Belt with experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing.  Trained and skilled in Leadership, team building, training, training course development, behavior-based safety, worker compensation claim prevention, and risk management.

 

HOW IT WORKS

 

Workshop sessions are broken down into 4-hour time slots, scheduled two per day. You can choose to attend session one or session two for the day. LOCATIONS

 

The training workshops will be held at different locations during the course of the year. Training workshops will be scheduled starting in January 2022. The following is the preliminary listing of cities that training will be offered, and a schedule of workshops will be released in the near future.
